That One Special Day, Teach Oscail Family Resource Centre, Christmas Appeal
Teach Oscail Family Resource Centre assists families throughout County Cavan by offering Family and Parenting Support, Counselling Services and Community led activities.
Understandably, the lead up to Christmas places financial demand on the most vulnerable households in our community. The stress placed on less fortunate families is intensified when they are forced to decide if they can heat their home, put food on the table or provide gifts for their children.
The aim of our ‘That One Special Day, Christmas Appeal’ is to try help as many families in County Cavan experience one Special Day out of 365 days a year where they will have a warm home, food on the table and a smile on their children’s faces.
We appreciate that it is a busy time of year for fundraising requests, therefore we thank you in advance for your consideration of the That One Special Day, Christmas Appeal.
To help a local child or family, you can:
- Hold a workplace fundraising event in aid of the appeal i.e. Christmas Jumper Day
- Make a cash donation towards the Appeal for the purchase of toys, food or heating
- Make donations of new toys for children from birth to adolescence, gift packs, toiletry sets, Christmas pyjamas and selection boxes/boxes of sweets.
- And finally, Share the appeal information with family and friends.
You can be rest assured that your donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly into the hearts and homes of local families in County Cavan this Christmas.
