Service Description

CAPS is a small, volunteer-led registered charity dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where autistic children, young people and adults can connect, grow and feel understood. Our work is made possible through the dedication of our volunteers and the trust of the families we support.
We provide a wide range of tailored supports, including workshops, social activities, therapeutic services, family meet-ups and peer support. The organisation’s mission is rooted in acceptance, enrichment, empowerment, compassion, understanding and accessibility, ensuring that every participant feels valued, supported and included.
Throughout the year, CAPS delivers a diverse programme of activities to meet the evolving needs of our members. This includes seasonal camps (during school holidays), regular Social Morning events for parents and social clubs for all ages—from Juniors (4–10) and Tweens (10–17) to our Thrive Together (18+) group—ensuring meaningful opportunities for connection, development and enjoyment at every stage
