Service Description
Family Carers Ireland is the national charity supporting people who care for loved ones at home across Ireland. They provide information and advice on carers’ rights, social welfare entitlements, and how to access health and community services. Supports include confidential listening services, counselling, peer support groups, education and training programmes, and respite services where available. They also offer dedicated supports for young carers and parent carers. In addition, Family Carers Ireland advocates at a national level to improve recognition, funding, and practical supports for family carers throughout the country.
