Service Description
MaCYSS is a specialised alcohol and other drug (AOD) service that delivers youth (12-18 years) and family support across Cavan and Monaghan in partnership with HSE, TUSLA and the North East Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force. We provide:
• Clinical intervention and counselling for young people and families who are experiencing difficulties as a result of their drug or alcohol use.
• Individual assessment and treatment plans.
• A range of education and resources on alcohol and other drug topics related to young people and their families.
• Consultation with other professionals working with young people and families experiencing difficulties with alcohol or other drugs.

Referral Pathway
Referrals can be made by professionals across Community, Voluntary and Statutory sectors including schools, GP’s, HSE Primary Care, TUSLA, Youth services, and Gardai.
