Service Description
Parenting Cavan is a partnership hosted by Cavan County Local Development which brings together parent support agencies from across the county to co-ordinate parenting programmes and supports to all parent’s and families in Co Cavan.
Parenting Cavan was launched in December 2017, it benefits from a collaborative approach to the provision of parent supports in the county. Its steering group is drawn from representatives from a broad range of services and backgrounds involved in supporting parenting at different stages and ages. Parenting Cavan is an on line focal point for parents to easily access information on local supports.
The aim of this hub is to improve outcomes for parents and families by sharing information, signposting, providing support & parenting programmes,to promoting parental participation and organising events to support parents.
